So whenever I try to record Minecraft (1080p, 50fps), I get really bad frame drops, my game spikes from 60-144fps and my recording spikes from 40-50fps, and gets really laggy. You change change your encoding preset to NVENC to stop the FPS loss (will use onboard video enconder on your 1070 GPU) - follow this guide to do that. When I have OBS open (not streaming or recording), and I go into a game such as CS:GO I get severe frame drop/stutter. Now, opt for restarting your computer and access the software to check whether it shows any issues or not. Select 128 on the Bitrate drop-down menu.
